Globe Engineering Company

Globe Engineering Company is located out on Silvassa Road, specifically Plot No. A-1-28 in Phase-2 of the GIDC in Vapi. Being on the main road means we see a lot of traffic, which is good for logistics but makes for a loud morning. We are an engineering shop, so our floors are covered in metal shavings and there’s always the scent of cutting oil in the air. We have a few big lathes and milling machines that have been with us for a long time. They’re old, but we know how to fix them ourselves when they break down. Most of the work we do is custom, so every day is a little bit different. One day we are working on a pump shaft, and the next it’s a flange for a chemical plant down the road. It’s a small team, maybe ten of us total. We usually have tea together at 10 AM and talk about the news or whatever is happening in Vapi. The building itself has seen better days, the paint is peeling a bit near the roof, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain off. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or sales pitches. Most people find us because they know someone who worked with us before. We just try to get the dimensions right and get the parts back to the customers quickly.
