P J Chemicals

We are up on the 2nd floor of the Krishna Complex, right at office number 214. The Gidc Char Rasta area is always moving, and being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the chaos below. P J Chemicals is a small operation, mostly focused on the trading side of things. We spend a lot of our time on the phones, talking to suppliers and checking on where the next batch of chemicals is coming from. The complex is usually full of people going up and down the stairs, and it can get a bit loud during the lunch hour. We have a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets for all the safety data sheets and permits we have to keep track of. It’s a lot of administrative work, but it’s necessary in this line of business. We don't have a big warehouse here at Char Rasta; that’s all handled elsewhere. This is where we do the thinking and the planning. Sometimes the lift in the building stops working, which makes for a long day of walking. We don't have any fancy brochures. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our name on the directory downstairs. We just keep things simple and try to be honest about what we can do and when we can do it.
