Aayushi Engineers

Our shop is number 41 in the Raghuvir Complex. It’s right across from the VIA Ground in the GIDC area of Vapi. We’ve been here for a good while now. Being in GIDC means it’s always busy with industrial activity. We mostly do engineering work, so our shop is full of tools and parts. It’s not the cleanest place, as there’s usually some grease or metal shavings on the floor. We don't have a receptionist; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. Most of us are usually busy with a machine or a drawing. We take on various jobs that come our way from the nearby factories. Sometimes we have to work late into the night to finish a repair that a client needs urgently. The complex can get quite crowded with people and vehicles during the day. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just try to figure out the problems people bring us and fix them. We’ve learned a lot over the years by just doing the work. The fans in the shop help with the heat, but it still gets pretty warm in the afternoons. We get our supplies from other shops nearby. It’s a community of workers here. We don't do much in the way of selling ourselves. If we do a decent job, people usually come back. That's how we've stayed in business all this time.
