Neha Enterprises

Neha Enterprises is tucked away at Plot No. 703 in the Gidc area and it’s a pretty simple setup. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big front office to impress people. Most of what we do is manual work that requires a lot of standing around and moving heavy things. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we haven't had the time to stop working long enough to do it. We get our orders through the phone or sometimes people just stop by the gate to see what’s available. It’s a dusty place because of the surrounding factories but we just wipe down the desks every morning and start over. There are three of us who have been here since the start and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. The chai wallah comes by twice a day and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don't have any big slogans or goals other than finishing the day’s work so we can go home to our families. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty but there’s a certain kind of peace in just doing a physical job well. We handle the materials as they come and try not to let things pile up too much in the corners. It is a humble place but it has been our second home for a long time.
