Our place, Gopal Krishana Papers Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away at Plot No 4711 in the Plastic Zone. It sounds a bit funny being a paper company in a plastic zone, but that is just how the plots were given out. The area is always dusty with all the construction and the heavy vehicles passing by. Inside, it is a different world with rolls of paper and stacks of sheets everywhere you look. We have a small team here and most of us have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to get things moving. The office part is just a couple of chairs and a computer that sometimes takes forever to start up. We don't spend much on decorations because the paper takes up all the room anyway. Mornings are for sorting out the schedule and the evenings are usually spent making sure the loads are ready for the next day. Sometimes the rain leaks through the roof a bit if it’s a heavy storm, so we have to move things around quickly. It’s just how life is in an industrial plot. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People find us because we’ve been here and we do what we say. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we know where every single stack is located. The chai near the gate is decent enough to keep us going.
