Vasanti Engineering / Va Mech Seals

We are tucked away in the 40 Shed Area at number 750. If you know the industrial layout here, you know it’s a place for people who like to get their hands dirty. We work with mechanical seals and various engineering components. It’s a small shop, really. Most of our time is spent at the lathes or checking the precision of a seal. Vasanti Engineering and Va Mech Seals are basically the same team of guys. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in blue overalls. The 40 Shed Area is full of small workshops like ours, so there’s always the sound of grinding or welding coming from next door. We like it that way. It’s a place where things actually get built and fixed. We don’t bother with corporate talk or long presentations. If a seal isn’t working, we find out why and fix it. Some of the machines we use are quite old, but they work better than the new ones if you know how to handle them. We drink our tea outside the shed when the weather is nice. It’s a simple business. We have our regular customers who know we’ll do the job without any fuss. We don’t have a big marketing plan; we just make sure the parts we produce are solid and get them delivered.
