Ramdev Trading Co. is situated right at Plot No. 196/7 in the second phase of GIDC, Vapi. If you know where Vapi Paper Mills is, we are just near that, right across from Raj Plastic. It is a good spot because everyone knows these landmarks. The traffic on this road can get pretty heavy with all the trucks coming in and out, so things stay quite dusty. We spend a lot of our time moving boxes and checking stock lists. Trading is mostly about keeping track of what comes in and what goes out. It sounds simple, but when the deliveries are late or the weather is bad, it gets complicated fast. Our office is small and usually filled with stacks of paperwork and samples. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. We know the local drivers and the other business owners nearby quite well. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs during the quiet hours just to get some fresh air. The humidity in Vapi can be tough during the monsoon, and we have to make sure everything stays dry in the warehouse. It’s a plain business without any bells or whistles. We just focus on the orders we have for the day and try to get them sorted before the sun goes down.
