Malleods Pharmaceuticals Limited

Down here in Kachigam, Daman, things move at their own pace. Malleods Pharmaceuticals Limited is tucked away in Unit 2 of Survey No 366. It's an industrial patch, so there is always a truck idling nearby or someone moving pallets around. The weather gets really humid since we're in Daman, and the salt air sometimes messes with the metal gates. We spend most of our hours inside the unit making sure the machines are running okay and the labels are straight. It's not a glamorous job. You wear your work clothes and get used to the smell of the production floor. Sometimes the power cuts out for a minute and we all just wait for the backup to kick in. Lunch is usually something quick brought from home or from the little canteen down the road. We have a small team, and most of us have been here long enough to know each other's families. Daman is a unique place to work because of the union territory rules and how the industry is set up here. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to get the batches finished so they can be shipped out before the weekend starts. The roads around the survey area can get pretty muddy during the monsoon season. We just put on our boots and get on with it. It’s a lot of paperwork and physical labor combined into one long day.
