KUNJ NEEDLES INDUSTIRES

We're out at Plot No. 1502 in the Gidc area, specifically the third phase of Umbergaon. KUNJ NEEDLES INDUSTIRES is what it says on the door. It’s an industrial area, so it’s mostly warehouses and factories around us. We spend our days making needles. It’s a repetitive kind of work, but someone has to do it, and we’ve gotten pretty good at the routine over the years. The machines run almost all day long. It can get pretty hot in the summer here in Umbergaon, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. The floors are concrete and the walls are plain. We don't have a showroom or anything like that because we mostly ship things out as soon as they are boxed up. Our crew is small, and most of us have lived around here for a long time. We know the neighbors in the other plots too. Sometimes we help each other out with tools or supplies. It’s not a glamorous job, standing by the machines and checking for defects, but it’s what we do. We don't have a website that we update or a social media page. We just focus on the production line. If there is a problem with a machine, we fix it ourselves. It saves time. We’ve seen the Gidc change a lot since we started, with more buildings going up every year. But we stay right here on Plot 1502, keeping the needles moving through the line. It's a steady life for us.
