Yogi Engineeing Works

Makarpura is one of those places that never really stops moving. Our shop, Yogi Engineering Works, is tucked away at Plot No. 748/9 inside the GIDC area. It's a solid piece of land, but it gets incredibly hot in the summer months. We've got our lathes and milling machines set up, and they've been humming along for years now. The floor is concrete, stained with oil in a few places where the old machines leaked a bit, but that's just part of the history of the place. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the walls look or if the sign outside is perfectly straight. What matters to us is that the parts we make actually fit when they leave the shop. Most of the guys here have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just show up, have our morning chai, and start the motors. The traffic around the GIDC can be a real headache in the evenings, but we usually stay a bit late to let it clear out. It’s a simple setup, really. No big boardrooms or fancy presentations. Just a bunch of tools and people who know how to use them. Sometimes a customer walks in with a broken part and we see if we can fix it right then. It’s a lot of manual work and getting our hands dirty every single day.
