M M Engineering Works

M M Engineering Works is located at Plot No 904-11, right in the heart of GIDC Makarpura. Like many places in Vadodara, we are surrounded by other workshops and the constant sound of grinding metal. Our spot isn't anything fancy; it’s just a workspace filled with the tools we’ve gathered over the years. We do a lot of fabrication work, and the guys are usually covered in a bit of soot or grease by lunch. We don't really have a front desk, so if you come by, you’ll probably have to wave someone down from across the floor. It’s a very hands-on atmosphere where we just focus on the task in front of us. The paperwork usually piles up on a small wooden table in the corner, but we eventually get through it. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or corporate logos. We just wear what’s comfortable for working around heavy machines. Sometimes the rain in the monsoon season makes a huge racket on our metal roof, and we have to shout just to hear each other. It’s just how it is working in an industrial zone like this. We know most of our neighbors and sometimes we help each other out with spare parts. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been at it for quite a while now. We just get the work done.
