We are located at Plot No. 858-3f in the GIDC Ind. Estate, right next to some of the other workshops. It’s a busy corner of the estate. Most of the time, you’ll find us hunched over a workbench or standing by the lathe. Engineering is a lot of measuring twice and cutting once, but even then, things don't always go as planned. We have a lot of scrap metal piled up in the back that we keep meaning to clear out. The light in here isn't the best, especially on cloudy days, so we have a few extra lamps clipped to the machines. We’ve known the guys in the neighboring plots for years, so there’s always someone coming by to borrow a tool or ask for a bit of help with a heavy lift. We don't have any big signs or fancy displays. The name S. R. Engineering is just painted on the door. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty and deal with a lot of heavy parts. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a job that’s taking longer than it should. We drink our tea standing up most days. It isn’t a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. We just focus on the task in front of us at Plot 858-3f and try to get it right. That is just how we do things here. We don't mind the noise or the dust that much.
