Klixon Engineers

You can find us at Plot No. 813 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. We have been operating as Klixon Engineers for a while now. The workshop is where we spend nearly all our time. It is a practical space with benches, tools, and some older machinery that still works better than the new stuff. We do not go in for much decoration. The walls have some old calendars and maybe a few notes scribbled on them with a marker. Our work involves a lot of technical thinking and hands-on fixing. We are not a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a small group of us who know how to handle engineering problems. Every morning we open the shutters and let the air in. The estate is always moving, with delivery vans and people rushing around. We just focus on what is on the bench in front of us. Some days are slow and we spend time cleaning the tools, but most days we are trying to catch up on a backlog of work. We do not use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just fix things or make parts as they are needed by our customers. If someone comes in with a problem, we take a look and see what we can do. It is a quiet life in some ways, even with the noise of the estate.
