Yana Computers

We have been sitting here on Tarsali Laxmi Road 69 for quite a while. Yana Computers started because there were not many places nearby to get a laptop fixed or buy a mouse without driving across town. The shop is small and usually has a few motherboards or old monitors sitting on the counter. It gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so I am always wiping down the keyboards. Most days involve fixing slow windows or trying to figure out why a printer won't connect. It is not exciting work to everyone, but it keeps us busy. My brother helps out sometimes when there are too many repairs piled up. We have a small bench in the back where the soldering iron stays. People from the nearby houses come in asking for cables or maybe a new battery for their old machines. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It is just a workspace with some parts on the walls. Sometimes I lose track of time when I am digging through a tower case trying to find a loose wire. The tea stall next door brings over a cup every afternoon, which is nice. Laxmi Road can get loud with the traffic, but inside it is mostly just the sound of cooling fans and clicking keys. We just try to get the machines working again so people can get back to their own jobs and finish what they were doing.
