Sai Recharge

If you are around Manjalpur, specifically at 9th Khetwadi 5, you will see my small setup for Sai Recharge. It is not much more than a counter and a stool, really. I started this because everyone around here needs to put money on their phones or pay their utility bills. I have a couple of mobile phones and a computer that stay busy all day long. People walk up, give me their number and the amount, and I get it done for them. It sounds simple, but when the network is slow or the server is down, it can get a bit stressful with people waiting. I also keep some small things like SIM cards and maybe some earphones if someone needs them. The space is small, so I am mostly standing or sitting right by the entrance. I know most of the people who live in this part of Manjalpur. They stop to chat for a minute while the recharge goes through. I don't have any big mission statement or goals like that. I just want to make sure the recharge is successful so the customer is happy. It is a local service for local people. In the rains, I have to pull the plastic sheet down to keep the electronics dry. It is just a regular part of the day. I have been doing this for a few years now, and I like being my own boss, even if the shop is just a small corner.
