Our place is over at 3 Param Park in Vadodara. It is tucked behind the Taksh Bungalows on Vasna Road. You might miss the turn if you are not looking for it carefully. We deal with high voltage insulators here every day. It is technical work, but it becomes second nature after you do it for a few years. The office and the workspace are pretty straightforward. We spend a lot of time looking at specifications and making sure the insulators are ready for whatever they are being used for. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice compared to the busier parts of the city. We have a small group of people working here. Everyone just shows up, does their part, and goes home. We do not have those big meetings that last for hours. Usually, we just talk over what needs to be done while we are standing around the equipment. Sometimes the shipping schedules get a bit chaotic, and we have to move fast to get crates out the door on time. We keep a lot of records on paper still because it is easier to grab a folder than to find things on a screen sometimes. It is just a regular workplace in Gujarat where we try to stay busy and keep the lights on. It has been our home base for quite a while now. (252 words)
