Ultratech Cement Ltd.

Our unit is over on GIDC Road, situated within the Creative Corrugated Compound. It’s an industrial setting through and through, filled with warehouses and manufacturing plants. This specific location for Ultratech Cement focuses on the concrete side of the business. It’s a big compound and there is always something moving—forklifts, trucks, or people carrying supplies. We spend most of our time out in the yard or near the mixing stations rather than sitting in a comfortable office. The GIDC area is pretty gritty, but it’s where the real work happens. We don't have any fancy signs or a big showroom. If you come looking for us, you’ll mostly see the equipment and the piles of raw materials we use every day. The people working here are a mix of veterans who have been in the industry for decades and some younger guys just starting out. We don't go in for long meetings or corporate jargon. We just look at the schedule for the day and try to get the loads out to the construction sites on time. The road can get pretty chewed up from all the heavy traffic, but that’s expected in an industrial zone. It’s just a regular workplace where we deal with the heat, the noise, and the constant demand for concrete. We do our part and try to stay out of the way of the other units nearby. It is hard work, but we are used to it.
