Jalaram Cement Products

We set up shop at Plot No. 739-740 a long time ago. Jalaram Cement Products is basically just us working with sand, gravel, and cement all day. It’s dusty work and our boots are always gray. We make various things out of cement, mostly whatever people in the neighborhood need for their building projects. The yard is usually full of finished pieces drying in the sun. It's not a very pretty place to look at, just a functional workspace with some old machinery and stacks of bags. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most people find us because they saw our gate or heard from a neighbor. My brother and I usually handle the heavy lifting ourselves. It’s physical labor and by the end of the day, we’re pretty tired. We've seen the area change quite a bit over the years, but the way we make our cement products hasn't changed much. We use the same reliable methods. It works, so we stick with it. Some days the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and we can't pour anything. Those days we just clean the tools and wait. It’s a simple life. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small space to keep the receipts and have a seat. If you come by, you'll probably find us out in the yard getting our hands dirty with the mix. There is always a lot to do before the sun goes down.
