Ultimo Engineers is right across from the Purohit Restaurant in the G.I.D.C. Estate at Makarpura. Our address is 754/1, and it’s a pretty easy spot to find because of that restaurant landmark. Most people just say "the place near Purohit" when they're giving directions. We are an engineering shop that deals with a bit of everything. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with bits of scrap metal and tools lying around on the benches, but we know where everything is. We don't go in for fancy decor; the walls are just plain and the lighting is what it is. We spend most of our time on the machines or talking to suppliers on the phone. The G.I.D.C. area is always moving, with trucks and tempo vans coming and going at all hours. We’ve been here for quite a while now, so we’ve seen businesses come and go around us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have. Sometimes customers come in for a chat or to check on their parts, and we usually talk over the noise of the machines. We don’t use a lot of complicated jargon. If a piece of metal needs to be a certain size, we make it that size. It’s basic, honest work. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything, we just rely on people knowing we do the job right.
