Turn - O - Mech

Turn - O - Mech is located at Plot No. 901/4D in the G. I. D. C. Estate in Makarpura. Our workshop is a place where there is always the sound of metal being worked on. We have several machines lined up on the concrete floor, and there is usually a thin layer of oil or metal shavings around them. The building is a simple industrial shed with high ceilings and big doors to let the air circulate. We spend our days measuring parts and making sure the lathes and other tools are running correctly. It is a hands-on environment where everyone usually has a bit of grime on their hands by noon. We have a small corner with a table and chairs where we take our breaks and talk about the work. The light inside comes from big overhead lamps and the sunlight that streams in when the shutters are open. Makarpura is a big area, but people know where our plot is once they get onto the main estate road. We keep a lot of raw materials stacked near the entrance so they are easy to move. There is no fancy reception area, just a place to work and get things done. We focus on the parts we are making and try to keep the machines in good shape. It is a noisy, busy place but it is where we do our best work.
