Tomar Pavers & Blocks

The yard here at No. 8, Madhav Park is usually pretty busy with trucks coming in and out. Being near the Sunderpura Baroda Mumbai Road means there is always traffic noise, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We spend most of our mornings moving blocks around and making sure the pavers are stacked right so they don't chip. It’s heavy work, honestly. My hands are usually covered in grey dust by noon, and that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with cement and stone all day in Makarpura. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and most of the locals know where to find us if they’re fixing up a driveway or a patch of sidewalk. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that, just a practical space where we get things done. Sometimes the weather makes things tough, especially when it rains and the ground gets muddy, but we manage. If you’re driving down the main road, you’ll see the stacks of blocks from the gate. We don't have a big sign with lights, just the work sitting there ready to go. Usually, there’s a couple of us around the back checking the inventory or talking to a driver. It’s a simple setup, really. Just people working with their hands to make sure the materials are ready when someone needs them for a project. It’s dusty and hard, but it’s what we do every single day.
