Our office is up on the fifth floor, room 508, in the Saffron Complex. This is over in the Fatehgunj area of Vadodara. It’s a pretty well-known spot because the Waman Tukaram Patil road is usually quite active. Being near Narhari Hospital means there is always a lot of movement around here. We do engineering work, mostly solving technical problems that come our way. It’s not the kind of job that looks cool in movies, but it is what we know how to do. The Saffron Complex has a lot of different businesses, so we see a lot of different faces in the elevator every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded. We have our desks set up to handle the design and planning parts of the engineering solutions we provide. It’s a standard office setup, nothing too fancy or modern, just enough space for our team to sit down and get through the drawings and calculations. We’ve been based in this part of Vadodara for a while. The commute can be a bit of a pain during peak hours, but that is just how it is in this city. We usually spend the whole day at our computers or talking through project details. It’s a quiet enough place to work once you are inside the office and away from the street noise. We just focus on the engineering tasks we have for the week and try to stay on top of the paperwork.
