Tanisha Engineers is over in the B.I.D.C. Estate in Gorwa, specifically at T/1. It’s funny because we are right near Diamond Cable, which is the same landmark everyone uses to find their way around here. Being in an estate like this means there is always a lot of activity, trucks moving in and out, and the constant sound of metal being worked on. Our place is pretty basic. We have our machinery set up, a small desk for the paperwork, and a corner for keeping our tools. It isn't a place for people who like peace and quiet. We are usually covered in some kind of dust or oil by the time the day ends. We’ve worked in Gorwa for a long time, so we know most of the people on this side of the estate. It’s a bit of a community where everyone understands the grind. We don't bother with polished brochures or big signs. The work we do speaks for itself when people see it. Some days the machines act up or the material delivery is late, and we just have to figure it out as we go. That’s the reality of a small engineering shop. We just stay focused on getting through the orders and making sure everything is built the way it should be. It’s a regular life, nothing fancy about it, just hard work at T/1.
