Suruchi Ice Cream Parlour

Over on Sant Kabir Road, you’ll find Suruchi Ice Cream Parlour. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking here, just scooping ice cream into bowls and cones for whoever walks in. The shop has been here a while and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it's home to us. We have a couple of chest freezers that hum all day long. In the evenings, it gets quite lively with neighbors catching up while their kids finish their treats. We don't use any fancy machines, just old-fashioned scooping by hand. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the stock melting, but that’s just part of running a shop in this area. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the weekends when things pick up. We keep the napkins stocked and try to wipe down the tables as soon as someone leaves. The flavors we have are the ones we know people like. Nothing too strange or experimental. We just want to make sure the ice cream is cold and the shop is open when people expect it to be. Sant Kabir Road is a good place to be, and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the street and the people. It’s just us doing our thing day after day. It might not be flashy, but we like it this way.
