Sun-Tech Engineers

Sun-Tech Engineers is based in the G.I.D.C. Makarpura area of Vadodara. Our unit number is 909/1. If you know G.I.D.C., you know it’s a place where things actually get made. Our workshop is usually full of the smell of oil and the sound of machines running. It’s not a place for someone who likes a clean, quiet office. We do mostly mechanical engineering stuff, making parts and fixing things. The floor is concrete and often has metal bits scattered around. We have a small office tucked into the front where we do the billing and take orders, but most of us spend our time out on the floor. It gets incredibly hot in Vadodara, especially in the middle of summer. We have some big fans, but they just move the warm air around. We start early in the morning to get the heavy work done before the heat peaks. Our team is just a few guys who have been working with machines their whole lives. We don't have a website that looks professional or a fancy logo. We just rely on the fact that people in Makarpura know we do decent work. We often end up borrowing a wrench or some supplies from the shop next door. It’s a very practical way of working. We’ve been in the same spot at 909/1 for as long as I can remember. It’s just what we do and we don't plan on changing it.
