Sahajanand Engineering

You can find us over at 78 Makarpura Gidc Estate, right near the Unity Car showroom on Vadsar Road. This area is mostly industrial, so there are always trucks coming and going and the sound of machines running in the background. Our workshop is just one of many in this estate, but we’ve made it our home for quite some time now. We handle various engineering tasks here, mostly involving metal and parts that need fixing or making from scratch. It’s a greasy job sometimes, and our hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. The space is filled with tools and heavy equipment that we’ve gathered over the years. We don’t have a fancy front office; usually, if you come by, you’ll see us in our work clothes out on the floor. The heat in the GIDC can get pretty intense during the summer months, but the fans keep things moving a little. We spend most of our time focusing on the drawings and the machines to make sure everything comes out the way it’s supposed to. It isn't a glamorous life, but it’s good, honest work that needs to be done. We know the other shop owners around Vadsar Road, and we sometimes help each other out with tools or advice. It’s a tight-knit spot for people who like building things. We just keep doing our bit every day as Sahajanand Engineering, without making any big fuss.
