Sunil Engineering

We are located in the GIDC Estate over in Makarpura, specifically in the Ashwamegh Estate section. It's a bit of a maze back here in A1, 253/25, but we’ve been here long enough that most delivery drivers know the way. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, which is just how an engineering place should look. It’s hot in the afternoons, especially when the machines have been running since 8 AM. We take on various fabrication jobs and mechanical parts that local factories need. It’s mostly just loud noises and the smell of cooling fluid around here. I started this place with just one old lathe and a lot of hope. Now we have a bit more equipment, but the work is still just as hard as it was on day one. We don't really do fancy brochures or anything. People just come by because they heard we can get the job done without too much fuss. Sometimes we have to stay through the night to meet a deadline for a plant nearby. The tea stall around the corner is where we spend our breaks, talking about the day’s problems. It’s a gritty job, but someone has to do it. We don't claim to be anything we aren't; we just work with steel and iron and try to make things fit where they belong. We hope the traffic in the estate isn't too bad when you visit.
