Down in Wadi Viswas Colony, at number 51, you’ll find us at Steer Engineering. It’s a quiet enough street most days, tucked away from the main noise. The building is a simple one, nothing that stands out too much from the others on the block. Inside, we have our workspace set up with everything we need. We’ve got a couple of benches where the main work happens and some storage racks along the back wall for the materials. It’s a bit cramped when we have a big project going on, but we manage. Most of the staff live nearby, so the commute isn't bad. We usually catch up on the morning news while the machines warm up. There’s a small sink in the corner where we wash up after finishing a job. You can usually smell a bit of metal and grease in the air, which is just the way it is here. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We’d rather have good tools that don’t break. Sometimes a client stops by to check on progress and we just chat right there in the middle of the room. It’s informal, but it works. We’ve been at this for a while and the routine feels pretty natural now. We finish up when the work is done, lock the gate, and head home. That’s pretty much a typical day for us at Wadi Viswas Colony.
