About Standard Precision Bellows – Engineering in Vadodara
If you ever find yourself walking through the B.I.D.C. Estate in Gorwa, you’ll likely pass our small unit at 2/12. We’ve been working out of this spot for quite some time now. It’s a busy little corner of the estate. Most days are spent hunched over benches or checking the machines that help us put these bellows together. It’s not a quiet job, that’s for sure. There is always the sound of metal clicking or some machine humming in the background. We have heaps of material stacked up in the corners, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a big order comes in. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk right into the workspace. The floor is usually covered in little scraps of material, but we try to sweep up every evening before heading home. It's mostly just us and a few regular workers who know the routine by heart. We take care of the machines because they are the heart of the place. Gorwa can get quite dusty, especially with all the trucks moving around the estate, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. It’s a simple operation, really. We just show up, do the work that’s on the table, and make sure everything is ready for the next morning. It’s practical, everyday stuff that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There is always something to be oiled or tightened before we can leave.
