Src Engineering Works

You can find us at 1018/7 in the Gidc Estate. It’s an industrial area, so it’s dusty and loud most of the time, which is just part of the job for Src Engineering Works. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. There’s grease on the floors and the smell of cut metal in the air, which stays on your clothes even after you go home. We have our P.B.No 144 for the mail, but most people just drop by if they need something. The machines we use are old but they still do the work. It’s not like those high-tech labs you see on TV. We have fans running all day to keep the heat down, but it’s still pretty warm in the summer. Our crew is just a few guys who know their way around a lathe and a welding torch. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to check an email or look at a drawing. Most of the day is spent on the floor, measuring things and making sure the parts fit right. Sometimes we get a rush job and stay late, and other times it’s quiet enough to sit outside for a bit. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. If you come looking for us, you just look for the open gate and the sound of grinding. It’s just honest work.
