Spm Engineering & Tool Room

Our workshop is located at 811 in the Makarpura GIDC Estate. If you know the GIDC area, you know it is a massive place filled with all sorts of industries. We have been tucked away in this unit for quite a few years. It is a simple brick and concrete building. Inside, it is all about the tools and the work. We have different benches set up for different jobs. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we have some big fans running, but they mostly just move the warm air around. We do not have a polished office with air conditioning. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor anyway. We are a small group of people who just like to get things finished on time. We do not use much technology for our administrative stuff, mostly just notebooks and a basic computer in the corner. You won't find any posters about missions or values on our walls. Instead, you will see charts and diagrams we actually use for the work. The neighbors are mostly in the same boat as us, just trying to keep their businesses running. Parking is usually okay if you arrive early, but by midday, the lane is full. We just keep to ourselves and focus on the day’s list of things to do. It is not glamorous, but it is honest work that needs doing.
