Solitaire Machine Tools Limited

Our place is over at 292, Dharmsinh Desai Marg, right on Chhani Road. It’s a fairly large building for us. Solitaire Machine Tools Limited has been operating from this location for quite a few years. We handle the manufacturing of various machine tools. There’s a lot of heavy lifting involved and the floor is made of thick concrete to handle the weight of the equipment. We have a main workshop area and a smaller section for the office work. The office is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints and invoices everywhere. We try to keep it tidy but it’s hard when you’re busy. We have a lot of long-term employees who know the machines inside out. Sometimes they can tell something is wrong just by the sound it makes. Chhani Road is a busy thoroughfare, so we get a lot of trucks coming in and out. Loading the finished tools onto the transport vehicles is always a bit of a process. We have to be careful not to scratch the paint or damage the delicate parts. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve got a good rhythm going. We don’t do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have been buying from us for a long time. We just try to keep things moving and stay on schedule as best as we can. There isn't much more to it than that, really.
