Smt. H C Patel Arts And Commerce College is located right on National Highway No.8 in the Juna Bazar area. It is in Miyagam Karjan, which is part of Vadodara 391240. Being near the highway means there is always traffic passing by, but inside the gates, it is a bit more settled. We have students who come for their degrees in arts and commerce subjects. The building is a bit older and shows its age in places, but it serves its purpose for the local community. We have classrooms with wooden benches and blackboards where the professors give their daily lectures. It is a standard college experience without any of the extra frills. We spend our time managing the admissions, looking over exam papers, and making sure the library has the right books. The staff office is usually full of files and tea cups. Many of the students live in the nearby villages and take the bus or ride their bikes to get here. It is a practical place for getting an education if you live around the Baroda area. We don't have a big PR team or anything. We just keep the doors open and follow the university schedule. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the road nearby, but we just get on with the teaching. It is a regular part of life here in Miyagam Karjan.
