Lecturer,Msu,Vadodara

I am a lecturer at MSU here in Vadodara. My work takes place around the Ranchhod Krupa building, which is over in the Anand Pura area. It is pretty close to the Government Press, so if you find that, you are basically here. Baroda is a good city for this kind of work, and the 390001 zip code covers this central part. I’ve been doing this for a bit now, handling the students and the academic load. The office is just a plain room where I keep my books and files. It’s not a big flashy department office, just a practical spot in Gujarat to get things done. Sometimes the noise from the street gets in, but you get used to it after a week or so. I spend a lot of time reading and prepping for classes at MSU. It’s a lot of work but it’s steady. The building itself, Ranchhod Krupa, is an old-fashioned style. It has character, I guess you could say. You just walk in and look for the lecturer's area. People around Anand Pura are generally helpful if you get lost near the press. I try to keep things simple here. No need for anything fancy when you’re just teaching. It’s just me and the books most of the time. The walls are a bit thin and I can hear the neighbor's radio sometimes, but it’s homey. I wouldn't trade the university life for a corporate job anyway. It feels real here.
