Shreyas Alankar Vidyalay

Shreyas Alankar Vidyalay is tucked away in the Bagikhana area of Vadodara - 390001. This is one of the older parts of the city, so the streets are a bit narrow and things feel very established. The school itself has a long history in this neighborhood. We don’t have a massive campus with stadiums, but we have a solid building that has seen thousands of students pass through its doors over the years. Our classrooms are the old-fashioned kind, with heavy wooden desks and blackboards. The teachers here mostly live in the surrounding lanes of Vadodara, so they are really part of the local community. You’ll hear the noise of the city outside, but inside we try to keep things focused on the lessons. It’s a regular school day for us, starting with the morning prayer and ending with the rush of students heading home for lunch or tea. We don't have a big marketing department or glossy brochures. People around Bagikhana just know who we are. Sometimes the paint is peeling or a fan might squeak, but the teaching goes on regardless. It’s a place where children learn their basics and make friends they’ll probably keep for life. We just do our job day in and day out, making sure the kids have a safe place to study. It’s a humble, local school with deep roots in this part of town, nothing more.
