Shreeji Janta Ice Cream

We started Shreeji Janta Ice Cream here in Karelibaug because people around here just wanted a cold treat after dinner. It’s a small place, nothing fancy to look at, but we keep the freezers running and the lights on. Most nights it gets pretty busy with families walking over from the nearby houses. We have the usual flavors you’d expect, like vanilla and mango, and some others that people seem to like. It’s mostly just us scoopers behind the counter trying to keep up when the rush starts around nine. The floors get a bit sticky sometimes, that's just how it goes with kids and cones. We don't have a big seating area, so most folks just stand outside or eat in their cars while chatting. It's been in the same spot for a while now. Some of the regulars have been coming since they were little, and now they bring their own kids. We don't do much advertising, word of mouth works okay for us. Sometimes we run out of a specific flavor if the delivery is late, but we just make do with what's in the back. It’s a simple job, really. We just show up, open the shutters, and start serving. It gets hot in the summer, so the AC works overtime. If you’re ever walking around Karelibaug and need something cold, you’ll probably see our sign. We try to keep things moving so nobody waits too long in the heat. It’s just how things go around here.
