Shreeji Engineering

We are located at Plot No. I-26 in the GIDC Industrial Area of Raman Gamdi. A good landmark to find us is the Natraj Tea Center; we are right near there. Shreeji Engineering is basically a small workshop where we handle mechanical tasks and engineering jobs. It’s not a large corporation, just a group of us working with lathes and welding tools. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the fit is right because even a small error ruins the whole piece. Every day there is something different to look at, maybe a broken part from a factory that needs a replacement or a new design someone wants us to try out. The industrial area is always moving, and we fit right into that rhythm. We drink a lot of tea from the place nearby while we talk about the day's tasks. Sometimes the drawings we get are a bit messy or hand-drawn on scrap paper, so we have to figure it out as we go. It’s more about practical skill and experience than anything else. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to answer the phones. If we do a good job, the neighbor tells someone else, and that’s how we get more work. Our workshop is full of scrap metal and old tools that still work perfectly fine for what we need. We like the grit of the job. It feels good to finish a piece and see it move off to where it’s needed. We stay pretty busy most weeks.
