Shree Umiya Engineers

Our workshop is located at 986/20/8 in Diamond Park, which is part of the Gidc Estate in Asoj. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it gives us the space we need for the engineering work we do. The park is full of various workshops, so there is always the sound of metal being cut or machines humming in the background. We have a decent setup with the tools and equipment required for fabrication and repair. Most of the guys here are good with their hands and prefer being at the workbench rather than sitting behind a computer. We take on a lot of mechanical jobs from the nearby factories. It’s not always pretty work, but it’s necessary. The floor usually has some metal shavings on it by the end of the day despite our best efforts to sweep up. We don’t really use fancy brochures. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign while driving through the estate. The summer months can get really hot inside the shed, so we keep the big fans running all day. We’ve been at this for a while, just taking one job at a time and making sure things are built to the right size. It’s a straightforward life. We open up early, get the machines warmed up, and work through the list. It’s the kind of place where you know everyone by name and we just get on with the task at hand.
