Shree Shaniswar Engineering Works

You can find us at 901/1B, right across from Pakona in the GIDC area of Makarpura. It is a real industrial zone here. Shree Shaniswar Engineering Works is basically a workshop where we get our hands dirty every day. There is always the sound of machines running or someone welding something in the corner. We don't have a quiet lobby or air conditioning in the main work area. It gets hot, especially in the afternoons, but we are used to it by now. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots or metal shavings lying around despite our cleaning. We have a few machines that have been with us for a long time. They are reliable and we know how to fix them if they act up. Being in GIDC means we are surrounded by other people doing the same kind of hard work. We share a lot of stories with the guys from the shops next door during lunch. Most of our day is spent looking at drawings or standing at the lathes. We aren't much for talking on the phone unless it's about a specific job. We don't have a website with flashy photos or anything. This is just a place where engineering work happens. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in greasy overalls trying to finish a project before the power cuts or the sun goes down. That is just how life is in the shop.
