Shree Jagdamba Saree Center

Shree Jagdamba Saree Center is our small place located at 2 Sulabh Flats. We are in the Sanghvi Estate area on Govandi Station Road. A lot of people find us by looking for the Sai Baba Temple nearby. Subhanpura is a nice enough area to work in. We aren't in a big commercial mall; we are just in a residential-style building. It feels a bit more personal that way. We have been here for some time now. The shop is cozy, maybe even a little small for all the sarees we try to keep in stock. We often have to move piles around just to make room for someone to sit down. It’s a bit messy sometimes. We don't have a big staff, just us. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. The street outside can get pretty loud with the station road traffic. You can hear the trains sometimes if it’s quiet enough. We get a lot of locals who live in the flats around us. They stop by to see what's new or just to say hi. We don't do any big promotions. We just sit here and wait for whoever comes through the door. It is a simple way to run a business. We like the neighborhood feel of this spot in Subhanpura. Being near the Sai Baba Temple means we see many familiar faces every single day and it makes the work feel good.
