I am Bina and I run my things from unit 32 in the Fatehgunj area, specifically within the Vasai Taluka Industrial Estate. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't used to the industrial zones. We are near Abhilasha Cross Road. The area is full of trucks and the sound of machines, which is just how it is in an estate like this. I’ve been working out of this unit for a few years. It’s a practical space. There are high ceilings and concrete floors because that’s what works for the type of stuff we handle. I don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just see me or one of the workers moving boxes or checking inventory. It gets dusty and hot in the summer, but we have some fans going. I like the grit of this place. It feels like real work is happening. The cross road is usually jammed with tempos and carts, so I tell people to give themselves extra time to reach me. I started this because I wanted to have my own independent setup. It’s not a polished business with a logo on everything. It’s just a unit where we get things done. Most of my day is spent on the phone or checking the latest shipments. It’s a busy life, but it suits me fine. People often get lost looking for unit 32 because the numbering here is a bit messy, but just keep driving past the cross road and you'll see our gate.
