Bukhari Kajamali Pyaresab

I’m Kajamali Pyaresab Bukhari and I’m the one you’ll usually find here at Raopura. We are located near the Katamnallur Gate, which is a busy intersection with a lot of trucks and cars passing through. It can be quite noisy with all the honking, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. I set up this business here because it’s a central spot for people coming into town. The building is simple and doesn’t have many decorations. We focus more on what we are doing inside than what the outside looks like. I usually have a few people helping me out during the day. We spend a lot of time talking to customers and making sure they get what they came for. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on our feet. We don’t use any fancy computer systems for everything; some things we still write down in our ledgers. It feels more reliable that way. Raopura is a tough neighborhood sometimes, but it’s full of hard-working people just like us. We take pride in just showing up every day and doing a decent job. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the office, so we have to clean quite a bit. But that’s part of being near Katamnallur Gate. It is a real place with real problems and real work. We just keep moving forward one day at a time without making a fuss about things.
