Shree Hari Krupa Saree Centre

Our shop, Shree Hari Krupa Saree Centre, is tucked away in Raja Maheta Ni Pol. We are right opposite Rangoli Matching. If you know Vadodara, you know these narrow lanes can be a bit of a maze. But we have been in this spot for quite some time now. It’s a traditional area. The building is old but it has character. We have sarees everywhere. On the shelves, on the counters, and sometimes even in boxes on the floor when a new shipment arrives. It is a bit cramped, honestly. But that’s just how it is in the Pol. We don't have air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that hum all day. Neighbors walk by and wave. It feels like a small community here. Everyone knows everyone else's business. We keep things simple. No big posters or bright lights. Just the sarees and us. People come in to look around and sometimes they stay for a chat. We aren't in a rush. Vadodara has a lot of history and our street feels like part of it. Finding a parking spot for a car is almost impossible, so most people come on foot or by scooter. That’s just part of the experience of visiting us. We open the shutters every morning and start our day. It’s a quiet life but we enjoy the work. We try to keep the shop clean but it is tough with all the old buildings nearby.
