Shree Ankur Vidhyalay

Shree Ankur Vidhyalay is situated right along National Highway No. 8 in the Dashrath area of Vadodara. It is a bit noisy because of the highway and the fertilizer place nearby, but we keep the school as a quiet spot for the kids. We have been here serving the local community of Dashrath for a long time. Many of the parents work in the nearby industries, and their children come here for their studies. The building is simple and has seen many batches of students pass through its doors. We have a small playground where the kids spend their breaks. Life at the school follows a very predictable pattern. We start early in the morning and wrap up by the afternoon. The noise from the highway is something we have all gotten used to over the years. Our staff is mostly local people who understand the needs of the families living in this part of Vadodara. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the children learn their lessons and have a safe place to be during the day. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of school. We handle the teaching and the administration ourselves. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the location, but we keep the classrooms clean and ready for the students every single day. We spend time maintaining the old building and making sure the desks are in good shape for the students. It’s a lot of hard work but we have been doing it for years now and we just keep going.
