Shivoham Engineers

Our workshop, Shivoham Engineers, is tucked away at Plot No. 866/6/8 in the Gidc Industrial Estate over in Makarpura. We are located right behind the G.C.E.L. building, which is a good landmark because our plot number can be a bit confusing for delivery drivers who haven't been here before. Makarpura is a busy place to work, always something going on in the streets. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. We know each other's habits and how we like things done. The space we have is packed with lathes and other machinery, so you have to watch your step when you walk through. It isn't a showroom, it is a place where we actually make things. We started out with just one machine and slowly added more as we could afford them. There is usually a radio playing in the corner to keep us company while we work. We handle a lot of different jobs, mostly things that require a bit of patience and a steady hand. The tea stall at the corner is where we usually take our breaks. It is a good chance to step away from the noise for a few minutes. We don't do much in terms of fancy stuff. We just look at the drawings, set up the tools, and get to it. Sometimes we stay late on Saturdays to catch up, but mostly we try to keep a regular schedule to get home.
