Shantilal Odhavji & Sons

Shantilal Odhavji & Sons has been around for quite a while now. We are tucked away behind Jubilee Garden on 5th Main Road here in Vadodara. If you know the area, you know it gets a bit busy with people visiting the garden, but our spot is usually easy enough to find. It is a family thing, just like the name says. My sons and I handle everything ourselves. The building isn't brand new or anything fancy, but it serves us well. Most mornings start with the sound of the birds from the garden trees before the traffic really picks up. We spend most of our time at the desks or helping whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the tea stall down the road brings over a few cups when we are too busy to head out. It's just a normal workplace, nothing like those big corporate offices you see in the city center. We keep things pretty simple. There is usually a bit of dust because of the road work nearby, but that is just how things are in this part of town. We have our regulars who know where to find us, even without a giant sign out front. If you are walking down 5th Main, you just have to look for the turn near the park. It's a quiet enough life, and we like being part of the neighborhood. The office is small, packed with papers and some old furniture that we’ve had since the start.
