We are located at 2 Akoto. It’s a pretty straightforward setup for us engineers. We don't spend a lot of time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. Most of the time, the desks are covered in drawings or parts that need checking for the projects. It’s a small group of us here in the room. We’ve known each other for years, so the atmosphere is usually relaxed and friendly. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a project deadline is close, but we usually manage to get things sorted out. Lunch is often a shared thing in the small break area we have. We talk about work, but also about what’s happening in the neighborhood. Being in a place like this means you get to know the people around you quite well. It’s not like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. This is more of a hands-on place. We have our daily routine. Morning coffee, checking emails, and then getting into the actual engineering work. Some of the equipment we use has been with us for a while, and we know exactly how it behaves when it's running. It’s not always easy, and sometimes things go wrong, but that’s just how engineering is in real life. We don't pretend to be something we aren't. We are just a group of people who like solving problems and making things work. The 2 Akoto address has been home for us for a bit now.
