S K Engineering

Our shop is at 991/1/A1 in the GIDC area, which is always busy. Being near the St Depot and the Makarpura St Depot means there are always buses and people moving around outside. We are right by the Asoj Vsil Building Cross, near Sindhi Colony. It is a loud place because of all the factories around us, but we are used to it by now. At S K Engineering, we spend most of the day handling metal and fixing things up. It is not a clean job, you usually go home with grease on your clothes. The GIDC is a good spot for this kind of work though. Everyone here is doing something similar. We get a lot of people stopping by because we are so close to the bus depot. Sometimes they just need something small fixed quickly. We do not really do much in the way of talking ourselves up. The work we do speaks for itself I guess. The building we are in has seen better days but it works for us. We have all our tools set up just the way we like them. It is a lot of long hours standing on the floor and making sure the measurements are right. If you are coming from the Sindhi Colony side, it is just a short trip. We have been part of this industrial patch for a long time and do not plan on going anywhere else soon.
