Ritika Engineering Works

Ritika Engineering Works is located at 198/1 in the GIDC Asoj area. This industrial estate is full of small workshops just like ours, so it always feels like something is being built or repaired in the neighborhood. We do general engineering jobs, mostly involving manual lathes and welding work. The building itself is just a basic industrial shed with a very high ceiling to stop the heat from getting too trapped during the day. We have a few older machines that we have maintained and fixed ourselves over many years. They are not the newest models you can buy, but they are steady and we know exactly how they handle different metals. We spend a lot of our time looking at blueprints or even just rough sketches that a customer has drawn on a scrap of paper. It involves a lot of careful measuring and double-checking before we ever start cutting the metal. The workshop floor is usually covered in sharp metal curls by the time we get to the middle of the afternoon. We do not have any office staff to help us, so we just answer the phone ourselves while we are in the middle of a job. Sometimes we miss a call because the machines are simply too loud to hear anything else. We usually eat our lunch under the shade of a tree outside when the weather allows.
