You can find Rashmi Saree at 21 Dandia Bazar. We are specifically located on the 8th Cross, 27th Main, 1st Phase in Vadodara. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but once you get here, it’s easy enough to spot. We’ve been in Vadodara for a long time. The shop is full of sarees, obviously, and that means lots of colors and lots of folding. My hands get dry from handling the fabric all day, but it’s just part of the routine. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of people in suits running things. It’s just us. We open up, sweep the front step, and wait for the day to start. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit and talk. Other times, it’s a madhouse and we can’t even find the scissors. We try to keep the shop tidy, but when you’re dealing with this much cloth, things get messy fast. We don’t make big promises or use sales pitches. We just show the sarees we have and let people decide for themselves. The neighborhood around Dandia Bazar has changed over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing, but we’re still here at number 21. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it works for us at Rashmi Saree.
